The 3rd Nyéléni Global Forum for Food Sovereignty will take place in Sri Lanka, bringing together people’s movements, communities, and organizations from around the world. This historic gathering is not only a space for dialogue and strategy but also an opportunity to experience the realities of local struggles and solutions.

As part of the forum, field visits have been organized to highlight community initiatives, sustainable practices, and grassroots efforts in Sri Lanka. These visits will allow participants to engage directly with farmers, fisherfolk, women’s groups, Indigenous people and other local actors who are building resilient food systems and defending food sovereignty on the ground.
